Espaces vectoriels réels

I. Lois de compositions externes

Exemples :

  • 🔸 1) Si $A = \mathbb{R}$ et $E = \mathcal{V}_2$.
    Soit $\alpha \in \mathbb{R}$, Soit $\vec{u}(a,b) \in \mathcal{V}_2$, on définit "$\cdot$" par : $\alpha \cdot \vec{u}(a,b) = \vec{v}(\alpha a, \alpha b) \in \mathcal{V}_2$ donc "$\cdot$" est une L.C.E.
  • 🔸 2) On pose $A = \mathbb{R}$, $E = \mathcal{M}_2(\mathbb{R})$.
    On définit "$\cdot$" par : $\forall \alpha \in \mathbb{R}, \ \begin{pmatrix} a & b \\ c & d \end{pmatrix} \in \mathcal{M}_2(\mathbb{R}) \implies \alpha \cdot \begin{pmatrix} a & b \\ c & d \end{pmatrix} = \begin{pmatrix} \alpha a & \alpha b \\ \alpha c & \alpha d \end{pmatrix} \in \mathcal{M}_2(\mathbb{R})$.
  • 🔸 3) $\forall \alpha \in \mathbb{R}, \ \forall z = a+ib \in \mathbb{C}$.
    On définit "$\cdot$" par : $\alpha \cdot z = \alpha a + i\alpha b \in \mathbb{C}$. Donc "$\cdot$" est une L.C.E dans $\mathbb{C}$.
  • 🔸 4) $\forall \alpha \in \mathbb{R}, \ \forall f \in \mathcal{F}(\mathbb{R}, \mathbb{R}) \implies \alpha \cdot f \in \mathcal{F}$.

II. Espaces vectoriels réels

  • $\forall (\alpha, \beta) \in \mathbb{R}^2, \ \forall (x,y) \in E^2$ :
    1. $1 \cdot x = x$
    2. $\alpha \cdot (x * y) = \alpha \cdot x * \alpha \cdot y$
    3. $(\alpha + \beta) \cdot x = \alpha \cdot x * \beta \cdot x$
    4. $\alpha \cdot (\beta \cdot x) = (\alpha \times \beta) \cdot x$

Exemples d'e.v.r : $(\mathcal{V}_2, +, \cdot)$, $(\mathcal{M}_2(\mathbb{R}), +, \cdot)$, $(\mathbb{C}, +, \cdot)$, $(\mathcal{F}(\mathbb{R}, \mathbb{R}), +, \cdot)$ sont des espaces vectoriels réels.

Contre-exemple : $E = \{\vec{u}(x,y) \in \mathcal{V}_2 \ / \ x+y=1\}$. $(E, +, \cdot)$ n'est pas un e.v.r car $\vec{0} \notin E$.

📝 Exercice

$E = \left\{ M(a,b) = \begin{pmatrix} a & b \\ 0 & a \end{pmatrix} \ / \ (a,b) \in \mathbb{R}^2 \right\}$.
Mq : $(E, +, \cdot)$ est un e.v.r.

Réponse :
1- Montrons que $E$ est s/groupe de $(\mathcal{M}_2(\mathbb{R}), +)$ :
On a : $M(0,0) = \begin{pmatrix} 0 & 0 \\ 0 & 0 \end{pmatrix} = I \in E \implies E \neq \emptyset$ et $E \subset \mathcal{M}_2(\mathbb{R})$.
$M(a,b) + M(-c,-d) = \begin{pmatrix} a-c & b-d \\ 0 & a-c \end{pmatrix} = M(a-c, b-d) \in E$ avec $(a-c, b-d) \in \mathbb{R}^2$.

2- Mq $\forall \alpha \in \mathbb{R}, \forall M(a,b) \in E, \ \alpha M(a,b) \in E$ :
On a : $\alpha M(a,b) = \begin{pmatrix} \alpha a & \alpha b \\ 0 & \alpha a \end{pmatrix} = M(\alpha a, \alpha b) \in E$.

3- Vérifions les 4 dernières propriétés :
$\forall (\alpha, \beta) \in \mathbb{R}^2, \ \forall M(a,b), M(c,d) \in E^2$ :

  • $1 \cdot M(a,b) = M(a,b)$
  • $\alpha \cdot (M(a,b) + M(c,d)) = \alpha M(a,b) + \alpha M(c,d)$
  • $(\alpha + \beta) \cdot M(a,b) = \alpha M(a,b) + \beta M(a,b)$
  • $\alpha \cdot (\beta \cdot M(a,b)) = \alpha \cdot M(\beta a, \beta b) = M(\alpha\beta a, \alpha\beta b) = (\alpha \times \beta) \cdot M(a,b)$

III. Sous espace vectoriel réel (s.e.v)

1. Définition

Soit $(E, +, \cdot)$ un espace vectoriel réel.
On dit que $(F, +, \cdot)$ est s.e.v de $E$ si et ssi $F \subset E$ et $(F, +, \cdot)$ est un e.v.r.

Exemples :
- $(\mathbb{R}, +, \cdot)$ est un s.e.v de $(\mathbb{C}, +, \cdot)$.
- $(E, +, \cdot)$ est un s.e.v de $(\mathcal{M}_2(\mathbb{R}), +, \cdot)$ avec $E = \left\{ M(a,b) = \begin{pmatrix} a & b \\ 0 & a \end{pmatrix} / (a,b) \in \mathbb{R}^2 \right\}$.

2. Propriétés caractéristiques

Soit $(E, +, \cdot)$ un e.v.r et $(F, +, \cdot)$ s.e.v de $E$ si et ssi :
$\begin{cases} F \neq \emptyset, \ F \subset E \\ \forall (x,y) \in F^2, \ \forall (\alpha, \beta) \in \mathbb{R}^2, \ \alpha x + \beta y \in F \end{cases}$

📝 Exercice

$H = \{\vec{u}(x,y) \in \mathcal{V}_2 \ / \ x+2y=0\}$.
Mq : $H$ est un e.v.r.

Réponse :
1- On a : $\vec{u}(0,0) \in \mathcal{V}_2$ et $0 + 2 \times 0 = 0$ donc $\vec{u}(0,0) \in H \implies H \neq \emptyset$ et $H \subset \mathcal{V}_2$.
2- On a : $\forall (\vec{u}, \vec{v}) \in H^2, \ \forall (\alpha, \beta) \in \mathbb{R}^2$ :
$\alpha \vec{u}(x,y) + \beta \vec{v}(a,b) = \vec{u}(\alpha x, \alpha y) + \vec{v}(\beta a, \beta b) = \vec{B}(\alpha x + \beta a, \alpha y + \beta b)$.
Or : $(\alpha x + \beta a) + 2(\alpha y + \beta b) = \alpha(x + 2y) + \beta(a + 2b) = 0$ car $\vec{u} \in H \implies x+2y=0$ et $\vec{v} \in H \implies a+2b=0$.

IV. Familles Libres et Liées

📌 À retenir

$F = (x_1, x_2, \dots, x_n)$ est non libre (ou liée)
$\implies \exists (\alpha_1, \dots, \alpha_n) \in \mathbb{R}^n$ non tous nuls tel que $\sum \alpha_i x_i = 0$.

📝 Exercice

1- Mq $F=(1, \cos^2(x), \cos(2x))$ n'est pas libre dans $\mathcal{F}(\mathbb{R}, \mathbb{R}, +, \cdot)$.
2- Mq $F=(\vec{u}, \vec{v}, \vec{w})$ n'est pas libre (liée) avec $\vec{u}(1,1), \vec{v}(2,4), \vec{w}(-1,3)$.

Réponse :
1- On sait que : $\cos(2x) = 2\cos^2(x) - 1 \implies 1 \times \cos(2x) - 2 \times \cos^2(x) + 1 \times 1 = 0$.
Mais $(1, -2, 1)$ ne sont pas nuls. Donc $F$ est liée.

2- Soient $(a,b,c) \in \mathbb{R}^3 \ / \ a\vec{u} + b\vec{v} + c\vec{w} = \vec{0}$.
$\implies \begin{cases} a + 2b - c = 0 \\ a + 4b + 3c = 0 \end{cases}$.

Exemples :

  • 1) Dans $\mathbb{C}$, $\forall z \in \mathbb{C}, \ \exists (a,b) \in \mathbb{R}^2 \ / \ z = a \cdot 1 + b \cdot i$. Donc la famille $(1, i)$ est génératrice de $(\mathbb{C}, +, \cdot)$.
  • 2) $\forall \vec{w} \in \mathcal{V}_2, \ \exists (x,y) \in \mathbb{R}^2 \ / \ \vec{w} = x\vec{i} + y\vec{j}$.
  • 3) $\forall \begin{pmatrix} a & b \\ c & d \end{pmatrix} \in \mathcal{M}_2(\mathbb{R}) : \begin{pmatrix} a & b \\ c & d \end{pmatrix} = a\begin{pmatrix} 1 & 0 \\ 0 & 0 \end{pmatrix} + b\begin{pmatrix} 0 & 1 \\ 0 & 0 \end{pmatrix} + c\begin{pmatrix} 0 & 0 \\ 1 & 0 \end{pmatrix} + d\begin{pmatrix} 0 & 0 \\ 0 & 1 \end{pmatrix}$.

📝 Exercice

1- $E = \{f(x) = (ax^2+bx+c)e^x \ / \ (a,b,c) \in \mathbb{R}^3\}$. Déterminer une famille génératrice de $(E, +, \cdot)$.
2- $E = \left\{ M(a,b) = \begin{pmatrix} a & b \\ 0 & a \end{pmatrix} \ / \ (a,b) \in \mathbb{R}^2 \right\}$. Déterminer une famille génératrice de $(E, +, \cdot)$.

Réponse :
1- On a : $f(x) = (ax^2+bx+c)e^x = a(x^2 e^x) + b(x e^x) + c(e^x)$ et $(x^2 e^x, x e^x, e^x) \in E^3$.
Donc $F = (x^2 e^x, x e^x, e^x)$ est une famille génératrice de $E$.
2- On a : $\begin{pmatrix} a & b \\ 0 & a \end{pmatrix} = a\begin{pmatrix} 1 & 0 \\ 0 & 1 \end{pmatrix} + b\begin{pmatrix} 0 & 1 \\ 0 & 0 \end{pmatrix}$ et $\left(\begin{pmatrix} 1 & 0 \\ 0 & 1 \end{pmatrix}, \begin{pmatrix} 0 & 1 \\ 0 & 0 \end{pmatrix}\right) \in E^2$.
Donc $F = \left(\begin{pmatrix} 1 & 0 \\ 0 & 1 \end{pmatrix}, \begin{pmatrix} 0 & 1 \\ 0 & 0 \end{pmatrix}\right)$ est une famille génératrice de $E$.

VI. Base d'un e.v.r

Exemples (Bases canoniques) :
- $(\vec{i}, \vec{j})$ est une base de $(\mathcal{V}_2, +, \cdot)$.
- $(1, i)$ est une base de $(\mathbb{C}, +, \cdot)$.
- $\left( \begin{pmatrix} 1 & 0 \\ 0 & 0 \end{pmatrix}, \dots, \begin{pmatrix} 0 & 0 \\ 0 & 1 \end{pmatrix} \right)$ est une base de $(\mathcal{M}_2(\mathbb{R}), +, \cdot)$.
- $(1, x, x^2, \dots, x^n)$ est une base de $(\mathcal{P}_n, +, \cdot)$.

2. Proposition (Unicité des coordonnées)

$F = (x_1, x_2, \dots, x_n)$ est une base de $E$ si ssi $\forall X \in E, \ \exists! (\alpha_1, \alpha_2, \dots, \alpha_n) \in \mathbb{R}^n \ / \ X = \sum \alpha_k x_k$.
Avec $(\alpha_1, \alpha_2, \dots, \alpha_n)$ s'appellent les coordonnées de $X$ dans la base $F$.

📝 Exercice

1- Mq $F = (1+i, 2-3i)$ est une base de $(\mathbb{C}, +, \cdot)$.
2- Déterminer les coordonnées de $z = -2+i$.

Réponse :
1- Montrons que $\forall z \in \mathbb{C}, \exists! (\alpha, \beta) \in \mathbb{R}^2 \ / \ z = \alpha(1+i) + \beta(2-3i)$.
On a $\forall z \in \mathbb{C} \implies z = x+iy$.
$\implies x+iy = \alpha + 2\beta + i(\alpha - 3\beta)$.
$\implies \begin{cases} x = \alpha + 2\beta \\ y = \alpha - 3\beta \end{cases} \implies \begin{cases} \beta = \frac{x-y}{5} \in \mathbb{R} \\ \alpha = \frac{3x+2y}{5} \in \mathbb{R} \end{cases}$.
Donc $F$ est une base de $(\mathbb{C}, +, \cdot)$.

2- Dans $F=(1+i, 2-3i)$.
On a $z = -2+i = -\frac{4}{5}(1+i) + \frac{-3}{5}(2-3i)$.
Donc les coordonnées de $z$ sont $(-\frac{4}{5}, -\frac{3}{5})$.

VII. Dimension d'un e.v.r

Exemples : $\dim \mathbb{C} = 2$, $\dim \mathcal{M}_2(\mathbb{R}) = 4$, $\dim \mathcal{M}_3(\mathbb{R}) = 9$, $\dim \mathcal{P}_n = n+1$, $\dim \mathcal{V}_2 = 2$.

b. Proposition (admise)

🔹 Si $\dim E = 2$ alors $F=(x_1, x_2)$ est une base de $(E, +, \cdot) \iff F \text{ libre et génératrice} \iff \det F \neq 0$.
🔹 Si $\dim E = 3$ alors $F=(x_1, x_2, x_3)$ est une base de $(E, +, \cdot) \iff F \text{ libre, génératrice et } \det F \neq 0$.

📝 Exercice

Mq : $F = \left( \begin{pmatrix} 2 & 3 \\ 0 & 2 \end{pmatrix}, \begin{pmatrix} 1 & 1 \\ 0 & 1 \end{pmatrix} \right)$ est une base de l'e.v.r $E = \left\{ \begin{pmatrix} a & b \\ 0 & a \end{pmatrix} \ / \ (a,b) \in \mathbb{R}^2 \right\}$.

Réponse :
On sait que $(E, +, \cdot)$ est un e.v.r et que $B = \left( \begin{pmatrix} 1 & 0 \\ 0 & 1 \end{pmatrix}, \begin{pmatrix} 0 & 1 \\ 0 & 0 \end{pmatrix} \right)$ est une base de $E$, donc $\dim E = 2$.
On a : $\begin{pmatrix} 2 & 3 \\ 0 & 2 \end{pmatrix} = 2\begin{pmatrix} 1 & 0 \\ 0 & 1 \end{pmatrix} + 3\begin{pmatrix} 0 & 1 \\ 0 & 0 \end{pmatrix}$.
